JOB DESCRIPTION: RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT
IHS is one of the largest, pharmaceutical sales recruitment consultancies within the UK. We provide national coverage and a client base of all of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies. IHS is part of the Resourcing Services (UK) Ltd. Our other division SSC are leaders in the field of healthcare and device sales recruitment.
Duties - General Recruitment Duties
- Placing candidates in suitable positions with our client base
- Selling jobs to candidates, candidates to clients and constantly promoting the service offerings of IHS
- Key Account Management / Development
- Developing relationships with new and existing clients
- Taking candidates through the whole recruitment process, telephone interview, face to face interviewing, client liaising etc
- Writing advertisements, finding ways of attracting new candidates
Person
- Sales experience desirable but not essential as full training will be provided - applicants must be able to demonstrate the competencies required to be a successful salesperson.
- Ability to work in an autonomous environment and run your 'patch' like your own business
- Candidates must be extremely well organised - attention to detail is essential
- Good sense of humour and lots of enthusiasm

Package
- Competitive basic salary (dependent on experience)
- Uncapped commission structure - there are 2 thresholds, targets are realistic and commission is paid quarterly
- Pension (after 3 months service), Private Healthcare, death in service, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, mobile phone
- Travel allowance - when a consultant hits their trainee target they are entitled to a car allowance (up to a certain value)
- Sponsored further educational courses - CIPD, MBA, MSc etc
